How to set up L2TP/IPsec VPN Client on Deco APP

L2TP over IPsec is a VPN protocol that combines the Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) with the Internet Protocol Security (IPsec), providing secure data transmission and remote access capabilities.
Please follow the steps below to set up the L2TP/IPSec VPN Clent on Deco APP.
- Open the Deco APP and log in to your TP-Link account.
- Tap on More at the bottom bar, then click on Advanced.
- Select VPN Client and enable the VPN Client feature.
- Add a new VPN client and choose L2TP/IPsec.
- Description: Enter a name for this VPN.
- VPN Server: Enter the server IP or the domain name
- Username and Password: Enter the account in the server.
- IPSec Pre-Shared Key: enter the IPSec Pre-Shared Key from the server.
- If connection is successful, a message similar to the following will appear.
- In the Access permissions options, select All Clients, all clients can connect to this VPN. Select Client List, please add clients which are allowed to use VPN in the Client list.
